Thoughts on bowler hats

Here is a fact. Bowler hats do not just belong to pre-war Fleet Street hacks or Annie Hall.

They are versatile, chic, and work well on both men and women. Also, Winston Churchill wore one. And he won a war.

Take Ms Barton for instance. She's no Churchill, but she sure knows how to rock a bowler.

So my advice for today is, embrace you inner bowler.

Search Camden, Portobello. Don't spend too much. Be proud. Hold your head up high, and make like Micha.

This is pretentious

A review of POP 21:

The Russian influence is clear. The different paper textures are finger-flicking fun. There is an interview conducted by Barbara Bush (I don't know if this is good or bad). Tavi has more pages than her age (not to mention two covers).

A review of LOVE 2:

Shameless PR allegiance with Hollister. Pixie Geldof seems to have replaced Beth Ditto as mega-muse (I don't know if this is good or bad). A rabbit is wearing Louis Vuitton.

Premiere

Blogging is Boring, don't you think?
Reading is far more interesting. So read.

Having sampled Tavi's Style Rookie, I think how I used to write back when I was thirteen. Undoubtedly something along the lines of: "Why is everything so unfair?" et cetera. Although, come to think of it, I didn't start my diary until I was fifteen. And that was too boring to go into any further, should you have had any interest.

As is this blog, naturally.

You may think that a thirteen year old has little of interest to say. Yet Katie Grand, Dasha Zhukova et al are falling at the feet of Tavi and her Style Rookie blog. A blog that demonstrates decisiveness, sincerity, passion, and other listable elements of positivity.
(I just made up the word listable).

All this, and not a hint of brat behaviour.

I too, am quickly falling under the spell of said literary/fashion nu-genius. Her opinions are noted in an instant. The child of the Twitter Age.

As for A.Z, the blog premieres here.
